TCP/IP capabilities  

Users are able to communicate with Information Exchange via TCP/IP. In order for Expedite/CICS to operate in a TCP/IP environment, users have to specify the TCP communication parameter and provide valid TCP/IP override parameters in a file that will be read at CICS startup. The default is SNA.

The S3S and S4S security segments were added to the X12 standard. The necessary code was added to program EXPOISX1 to handle S3S and S4S for sending, and EXPBRCV1 and EXPOIRM3 were altered to handle S3S and S4S for receiving.

The IDLT clean-up is automatically performed when "records-only" are deleted.
