Information Exchange is GXS's international storage and retrieval mechanism for electronic mailbox services and computer-to-computer networking. With Information Exchange, you can send and receive various kinds of electronic information-including standard-format EDI transactions, free-format documents (such as memos, letters and order-status inquiries), and data files containing up to 280 million characters. Information Exchange receives the transactions, routes them to a mailbox, and stores them for later retrieval.
