Expedite for Windows
This program provides a GUI interface that simplifies the programming of file handling. You can also use a well-defined C-language API to write your applications, integrating EDI.  TCP/IP is used as a communications protocol.

Expedite/CICS
This program enables an MVS host processor to communicate with Information Exchange. With this program, 3270 terminal users and CICS programs can send, receive, and manage EDI data and e-mail.

Expedite/Async
With this gateway to Information Exchange, you can send and receive EDI and non-EDI data, using a variety of asynchronous communications products that may already be installed on your local computers. Expedite/Async supports the following asynchronous file transfer protocols:

  • XMODEM
  • 1KXMODEM
  • YMODEM
  • ZMODEM
  • ANSI Clear

Information Exchange supports both asynchronous (ASYNC) and ANSI Clear command sets for ASYNC communications, making it easy to send and receive data.

Expedite/Direct
This gateway connects your remote job entry (RJE) workstations to Information Exchange. Using Expedite/Direct commands, you can send and receive data and define nicknames and lists for your trading partners. Expedite/Direct supports both EDI data and non-EDI data. For EDI data, the following formats are supported:

  • ANSI ASC X12
  • UCS
  • UN/EDIFACT
  • UN/TDI

In a single session, you can use Expedite/Direct to send or receive one or more EDI as well as non-EDI data sets. If you specify that you want to receive all your messages at once, Expedite/Direct sends the messages as one data set.
