Withdrawal: Expedite Notification Manager and Information Exchange Event Services

Customers affected: Users of the GXS Information Exchange application operating on systems USA, EUR, JPN and BRA.

The following IE feature and software are being withdrawn on May 24, 2010 and will no longer be supported:

• Expedite Notification Manager
• Event Services – message arrival notification and scheduled events

Alternative methods of automated delivery of messages are available.  For advice or assistance in using an alternative provided by GXS, please contact Information Exchange support or your GXS account manager.
Alternatives:

• Customer can utilize a job scheduler on their system to initiate sessions with Information Exchange or IE Experience to send and receive data.
• GXS Trading Grid Messaging Services (TGMS) provides the capability for FTP push to a customer’s system for automated delivery of messages.
• GXS Trading Grid Messaging Services (TGMS) provides the capability for AS2 connection which is push-push to a customer’s system for automated delivery of messages.
