In order to accommodate our entire user base, we have extended
the deadline for this change from February 28th to March
31st, 2007. We will send out reminder notifications beginning
with a 30 day notice. These will be followed by a one week
and a weekend notification reminder.

NOTE: If you use FTP or an EDI application other than Expedite,
please contact the software vendor for specific instructions.
Modification of your firewall settings maybe needed to allow
access to the new IP address, please contact your network
support for guidance
For Expedite Base/AIX:
Update hostname.fil
This file is located in the following directory:
/var/adm/expedite
Expedite Base/AIX comes with a file called hostname.fil.
This file contains the IP addresses that can be used to
communicate with the network using TCP/IP.
Open the hostname.fil with a text editor. Find the line
that does NOT begin with # and if that address is 204.146.24.85,
change the address to 204.90.130.45 and save the file. Expedite
Base/AIX will now use the new address you selected.
NOTE: If there is a different address on that line, no
change is needed at this time.
For Expedite Base/WIN:
Update hostname.fil
This file is located in the following directory:
C:\expedite
Expedite Base/WIN comes with a file called hostname.fil.
This file contains the IP address that is used to communicate
with the network using TCP/IP.
Open the hostname.fil with Notepad.
If you see the following line,
204.146.24.85 3667 # USA_SSL - United States, Canada, Latin
America
Update it to read:
204.90.130.45 3667 # USA_SSL - United States, Canada, Latin
America
and save the file.
Expedite Base/WIN will now use the new address you selected.
NOTE: If there is a different address in use, no change
is needed at this time.
For Expedite /WIN:
Update hostname.fil

C:\exp6\shared
Expedite/WIN comes with a file called hostname.fil. This
file contains the IP address that is used to communicate
with the network using TCP/IP.
Open the hostname.fil with Notepad.
If you see the following line,
204.146.24.85 3667
Update it to read:
204.90.130.45 3667
and save the file.
Expedite/WIN will now use the new address you selected.
NOTE: If there is a different address in use, no change
is needed at this time.
For Expedite Base/MVS:
Update the INPRO
Expedite Base/MVS uses INPRO to set session parameters.
This contains the IP addresses that can be used to communicate
with the network using TCP/IP. This may be a ddname, instream
in the JCL or identify a DSN in the JCL
Edit the ddname INPRO or Edit the JCL, instream it will
be proceded with:
// INPRO DD *
Or edit the dataset it refers to:
// INPRO DD DSN=dataset name
Find this command in the INPRO, JCL or DSN, usually following
the IDENTIFY statement:
Tcpcomm ietcphost1(204.146.24.85)ietcpport1(3667);
Change the IP address to 204.90.130.45 and save the file.
The ietcpport1 value will remain the same (3667). Expedite
Base/MVS will now use the new address you selected.
NOTE: If there is a different IP address on that line or
snacomm is used instead no change is needed at this time.
For Expedite Base/400:
Update the INPRO
Expedite Base/400 uses the INPRO file to set session parameters.
This contains the IP addresses that can be used to communicate
with the network using TCP/IP.
Edit the INPRO
Find this command:
Tcpcomm ietcphost1(204.146.24.85)
Change the IP address to 204.90.130.45 and save the file.
The ietcpport1 value will remain the same (3667). Expedite
Base/400 will now use the new address you selected.
NOTE: If there is a different IP address on that line or
snacomm is used instead no change is needed at this time.
