The following IE features related to OFTP support have limited historical usage and are being withdrawn on May 30, 2011 and will not be supported on IE Experience:

    - OFTP message options:

      - GRPIEMSG – specify the maximum size of a group

      - SPLITVFN – if a user specifies this as a VFN, Odex will split multi-interchange files into separate files and submit them individually into IE

      - EERP=NO – If a user doesn’t send EERPs we’ll set this option

      - BADX25DIAG/GUDX25DIAG – X.25 errors are sent to the Helpdesk

    - Use of “Command files” to send a command file to Odex to change a password, cancel an interchange, etc.  Instead, clients will need to contact their local helpdesk for these types of actions.

    - EDI File splitting – sending  a special SFID that results in the  split of multi-interchange files into separate files for individual submission into IE

    - Generation of files containing error messages as a notification of errors.

    - Support of varying time zones.  Instead, times will be expressed in GMT.

    - OFTP password expiration and automatic disabling of OFTP nodes

    - Support of sending “V” type files (records in these files are prefixed with a record length.  This file type is unique to IBM mainframes). Note, however, that files of this type CAN be received and will be converted to “T” type files (each record delimited with CR/LF).

    - VAN acknowledgements to IE users will no longer be supported.
