PTF JN00610 for Expedite/CICS for MVS 4.5

The fixed windows for Y2K have either been replaced by sliding windows [(current year - 50) through (current year + 49)] or with calls to the system to return an eight-digit date, where appropriate.

Options "E" and "F" for the "Retain data header" field on the Batch Receive Panel will use the Common Data Header (CDH) to determine how to format the data being received, as it does for an online receive.

The TCP/IP Child Task has been altered to alleviate a "socket was closed" condition that arises from time to time when the child task and Information Exchange are communicating between machines where the TCP/IP buffer spaces are not equal.

Users in the U.S. may Contact Us to obtain PTF JN00610 , on or after September 8, 2000.
