The Information Exchange and Internet transfer message
charge options have been enhanced to include the following
three options:
- Business Exchange Services Internet transfer sponsorship
where the Internet transfer user accepts responsibility
for both the send and receive charges that apply to the
message transfer.
- Information Exchange sponsorship where the Information
Exchange user accepts responsibility for both the send
and receive charges that apply to the message transfer.
- Arrangement where no sponsorship agreement exists.
The sender pays the send charges and the receiver pays
the receive charges that apply to the message transfer.
This is the default.
Only one option is allowed for exchanging messages between
a trading partner on Information Exchange and a trading
partner on Internet transfer. Trading partners are not allowed
to use payment options that are different when sending than
when receiving messages..
