The data transformation component of the GXS services - Business Exchange Services adds data transformation capabilities to the Internet transfer component of Business Exchange Services. You and your trading partners can either send data files for transformation or receive translated data files from data transformation using an Internet transfer mailbox.

Data transformation helps you expand business relationships to a broader range of trading partners, without having to manage the many different document standards, such as XML, EDI and non EDI data. You can access data transformation through Internet transfer and through all gateways connected to Internet transfer, such as Information Exchange, or through an equivalent mailbox service offered by another EDI provider and supported by EDI VAN Interconnect. EDI VAN Interconnect supports trading relationships between the customers of more than 25 EDI value-added networks (VANs).

With data transformation, you can enable a large number of trading partners quickly and cost-effectively, allowing you to focus on your real business. We manage your business documents exchange with your trading partners worldwide. You don’t have to worry about the different document types, such as XML, ebXML, cXML, UN/EDIFACT, ANSI X12 … we participate in all national and international standardization committees and make sure that the formats are always up to date and can exchange business documents with your existing and new trading partners.
