Trading
partner A is set up to do EDI. Trading partner C is not. Trading
partner A can make a form available at a certain URL on the
Internet by using forms exchange, a feature of EDI Services.
Trading partner C can then access that form on the Internet,
fill it out, and submit it. The form is then translated to
EDI format using in-network translation, another feature of
EDI Services.
Trading partner C may also have other data that is not
in standard EDI format that needs to be sent to trading
partner A. Trading partner C can send this data through
another feature of EDI Services, to trading partner A's
mailbox on Information Exchange.
