Expedite Base/AIX takes advantage of many communication
features of Information Exchange, such as international
reach, distribution support, alias tables, archive capability,
audit capability, selective message receive, and a flexible
message retention period.Expedite Base/AIX 4.6 is supported
on AIX versions 5.1 and 5.2.
With Expedite Base/AIX 4.6, you can:

mailbox with support for both TCP/IP and SNA access.

connectivity over TCP/IP via the Internet.

You can incorporate Expedite Base/AIX 4.6 into your business
applications by writing simple scripts that provide configuration
and session information. For the ultimate flexibility in
session recovery, Expedite Base/AIX provides you with checkpoint-level,
file-level, user-level, and session-level recovery.
Expedite Base/AIX 4.6.1 is the GXS version
of Expedite Base/AIX and is functionally equivalent to Expedite
Base/AIX 4.6. Customers that currently have Expedite Base/AIX
4.6 are not required to upgrade at this time.
