Following are some clarifications on certificates:

• Internet transfer supports certificates conforming to the X.509 standard.
• GXS does not carry the responsibility of Certification Authority (CA).
• GXS does not check the Certificate Revocation List (CRL). It is the customers' responsibility to renew their certificates, and then supply the renewed certificates to GXS.
• GXS does not distribute certificates other than its own.
• GXS is not responsible for a customer's lost or compromised certificate.
