New carbon copy feature  

The Carbon Copy Feature of Information Exchange Version 4.6 enables the delivery of a duplicate electronic copy, or "carbon copy" of a message, to one or more additional recipients. "Carbon copies" are sent based on a predetermined "profile." The original recipient also can set up a profile to automatically redirect a message of a specific type or from a specific enterprise to another mailbox.

 

TCP/IP FTP gateway enhancements  

The TCP/IP FTP gateway is being enhanced to provide customers increased control over, and information about, their message transfers.

 

New Information Exchange Administration Services for the Web functions  

Information Exchange Administration Services for the Web is being expanded to allow customers to perform additional functions for increasing security, auditing traffic and authorizing trading partners.

 

Extended Security Option (ESO) security enhancements  

The Extended Security Option (ESO) offers stricter formatting rules for passwords to enhance security for those who choose to use it.

 

TCP/IP protocol interface available for interconnections  

A TCP/IP protocol interface also will become available for interconnections with other value-added networks, another means by which communications can flow more rapidly and efficiently among multiple parties.
