Expedite Base/400^® is a communication software component of EDI Services that runs in the AS/400® environment. Expedite Base/400 is used to exchange electronic data with trading partners via Information Exchange, the mailbox feature of EDI Services.

Expedite Base/400 4.6 takes advantage of many communication features of Information Exchange, such as international reach, distribution support, alias tables, archiving, auditing, selective message receipt, and a flexible message-retention period.

With Expedite Base/400 4.6, you can:

• Benefit from faster access to your Information Exchange mailbox with support for both TCP/IP and SNA access.
• Streamline business with your trading partners by communicating electronically.
• Send and receive e-mail messages, system files, purchase orders, invoices, and other documents.
